I am a father, husband, technology and media entrepreneur, marketer, strategist, and generally just someone who likes changing things. I live in New York.

Currently I am the CMO and Head of Global Client Group (and co-Founder) at Aperture Investors, where we’re attempting to redefine active management.

I served as the Chief Digital Officer at Roc Nation, and previously I helped lead the Ripcord team at Viacom, where we developed new consumer experiences to tell stories in new ways. Before that I was Vice President of Music Strategy, managing new music platforms and business models for MTV, VH1 and CMT. Before that I was Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Indaba Music, the largest crowd sourcing platform for music.

In 2010 I was named a Billboard “30 Under 30″ Power Player for the music industry. Way, way back in the day I got my start on the other side of the camera, starring in the Golden Globe-winning, Emmy-nominated CBS-TV series Brooklyn Bridge. Prior to Indaba, I was a management consultant with Katzenbach Partners, LLC (now Strategy&), focusing primarily on software and telecommunications clients.

I received my A.B. in Economics from Harvard and my MPA in International Economic Policy and Management from Columbia.

Here’s a throwback to some of my very early work…
