I can’t seem to access the other contestants to be able to vote. I particularly liked Solly Burton’s Mandolin. It was fresh, straight forward, and clean.

This is a serious thing to consider for any web 2.0 startup relying on amazon for document storage. The price is right, but 3 hours of downtime? And amazon isn’t the one who will look bad. Your startup is going to take the hit. Hosting companies should really start offering this type of service, where it would be inside the LAN and more reliable.

I feel sorry for all the other Web 2.0 startups out there that are down because of this outage, Amazon is going down every few months now. I think S3 Customers should move over to Nirvanix, obviously Amazon doesnt have their heads in the game, unlike Nirvanix. They even offer a migration tool for S3 users to move their data over to Nirvanix, i’ve used it, pretty cool.
